The surest sign that spring is back is the sight of the first flowers blooming: Snow Drops and Crocuses bring an air of fresh new life breaking out from winter’s weakening grasp. Spring is in full, radiant bloom in Chilliwack, with so many ways to revel in its return! Whether walking along brilliantly coloured rows of tulips, enjoying Easter activities with your little sprouts, or checking out one of many spring events in Chilliwack, your spring will be packed with entertainment.

Spring Flower Festival

As the earliest phase of the Chilliwack Tulip Festival, the Spring Flower Festival offers acres upon acres of heavenly scented Hyacinths, specialty Double Daffodils with so many lavish petals, and the early blooming of colourful Tulips.

Chilliwack Tulip Festival

With upwards of seven million vibrant and showy tulips blooming, this spring festival is a must-see, and the perfect way to herald in spring. Including the acres of Hyacinths and Daffodils, the floral fields span a total of 20 impressive acres. In addition to the magnificent blooms, you’ll also find lawn games, a festival store, plenty of fantastic photo props, food trucks, free parking, wheelchair accessible parking (fields are accessible depending on weather), and so much more! The opening date is weather dependent, but typically runs for 3-5 weeks beginning in April. Keep an eye on their social media for updates and announcements!
