In partnership with FortisBC’s BUILT BETTER program, HAVAN and CHBA Fraser Valley presented the fourth full-day session of a four-part series, A Holistic Approach to Improving Airtightness held on Tuesday, March 10 at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel in Surrey. Led by Hamid Heidarali of Hamid Design Build, these highly interactive and hands-on workshops are designed to bring together builders and their teams (site staff, designers, trades, consultants). Team learning is the key to building better homes.
In Parts 1, 2 and 3 of this workshop series “A Holistic Approach towards Improving Airtightness”, participants were exposed to holistic long-term airtightness solutions for roofs, decks, above grade walls, below grade assemblies, windows and doors. In Part 4, which will be the last Part of this series, the learning lessons of the last 3 Parts will be put into test!
