Summer is here and we can’t wait for you to visit! Whether you have a young family, or have teenagers, we’ve put together a list of our top 5 family friendly activities for you and your family to explore and enjoy.

1. Main Beach Boat Rentals, Cultus Lake

Rent a kayak, canoe, paddleboard or pedal boat from Main Beach Boat Rentals.

Located in Cultus Lake on Main Beach, Main Beach Boat Rentals has kayaks, canoes, paddleboards and pedal boats for you to take out on the lake and enjoy. They provide lifejackets for you as well. Enjoy an ice cream cone before or after from their ice cream shop as well!

2. Giggle Ridge Adventure Golf at Cultus Lake Adventure Park

Located in the Cultus Lake Adventure Park you’re sure to have a fun time at this 18-hole mini golf course through an imaginary world of Giggle Ridge. Make your way through a cartoon mountain lumber camp. Each hole has quirks and challenges and you get a chance to win a free game at the 18^th hole! Small strollers are welcome and this activity is suitable for all ages.

3. Bike or walk the Vedder Greenway Trails and Loop

A 21km loop that follows the Vedder River in Chilliwack through wide gravel pathways. Stop along the way to enjoy a picnic at one of the picnic benches or along the river, enjoy an ice coffee from the Amble Coffee Truck located at Vedder Park or simply walk a smaller portion of it together!

4. Get lost in the Chilliwack Corn Maze (Open August – October)

The Chilliwack Corn Maze is a main family attraction in Chilliwack located off of the Yale Rd. exit when entering Chilliwack from Vancouver. Make your way through their challenging maze, experience and play

5. Spend the day at Cultus Lake

Choose from 3 beaches and day use areas along Cultus Lake to spend your day. Main Beach, Entrance Bay and Maple Bay offer picnic tables, and docks to jump and swim off of. Don’t forget to also check out the Cultus Lake Waterpark and Adventure Park! Have lunch at Beethoven’s Pizza or Lakeside Beach Club, and cool off afterwards with ice cream from Frosty’s or shaved ice from Huis.
