A tour of the Lake House by Cascade Handcrafted Log Homes

A log home gets cozier with age, and this one is still a youngster at 25+ years old and is really the depiction of what a log home should be. Log home interiors are fun, rustic and give you that warm and fuzzy feeling inside. This gorgeous log home has it all.

As you walk toward The Lake House, you are greeted by a covered porch with 2 entryways. What else says “welcome” then a log home offering a safe dry shelter and multiple doorways?

Once inside, you notice the high exposed log post and beam ceiling, complimented with a large great room equipped with a cozy fireplace and a jaw dropping view of the lake.

Off the great room is a large country kitchen, complete with an old fashioned wood stove to keep you cooking and warm regardless of the power situation. There will always be fresh coffee brewing on those cold mornings.

Then there’s the deck. The deck spans across the whole back side of the house and offers epic entertaining with the indoor outdoor living concept. And that’s not all. The deck is tiered in such a way that it allows you to easily access the lake, or the old fashioned-wood burning hot tub! Imagine a snowy winter’s eve in a naturally heated hot tub! Again, regardless of the power situation.

Let’s talk about that view though. No words could describe the serenity and feeling of complete relaxation while observing nature’s finest offerings.
