Celebrating Excellence – 2022 Georgie Awards®
The Georgie Awards® celebrate excellence in home building and renovation in the residential construction industry. To be eligible, CHBA BC members submit projects that were built, renovated, developed, created and marketed from January 1, 2020 – September 30, 2021.
The association received an 11 per cent increase in submissions this year and the finalists and winners were selected by a judging panel of out-of-province industry professionals.
“There has never been a better time to take a moment to celebrate this incredible, resilient industry,” said Neil Moody, CEO of the Canadian Home Builders’ Association of British Columbia.
“Despite a year rife with wildfires, floods, devastation and a worldwide pandemic, our home building and renovation members continued to work hard, keep people employed, and build homes – all while raising the bar on innovation, quality and design excellence.”
Every year the industry comes together to celebrate an outstanding portfolio of award-winning projects. This dazzling display also demonstrates the industry’s resilience, professionalism and commitment to safe work sites that deliver beautiful homes to British Columbians across the province.
The in-person Gala for the 30th annual Georgie Awards® originally scheduled for March 12 at the Hyatt Regency hotel has been postponed to June 4, 2022.
